As a PR stunt, airline JetBlue is offering a flight from one LA suburban airport to another.

Oh no... Not the 405 again!
If it's airport gate to gate, then Jetblue will win. Given the commuter sectors, it'll be tight. I am curious which route the cyclist will take. There'll be lots of intersections along the way unless the cyclist takes the breakdown lane of 405.

Well, the results are out and the Wolf Pack Hustle bunch beat JetBlue by a wide margin door to door. However, a CBS news van (did it in 1 hour) beat everybody on the virtually deserted freeway. Irony, irony!

And then two cyclists got arrested for riding on the deserted I-405. It would have been a blast to take over that 10 lane highway.
