Breakfast after next Sunday 28/12 Waterfall ride
As Bobos (like most cafes) will be closed next weekend Jo & I thought we would offer our place at Dulwich Hill as the post ride breakfast / brunch venue with offerings of bacon, eggs, sausages, toast, fruit, coffee, tea and domestic sparking wine. For those so inclined it may spread on into lunch / drinks / beers etc.
Just so we can get an idea of numbers and therefore catering could those who intend to ride on 28/12 and come to breakfast please respond here or send us a PM. Also, if you know regular riders who don't read this forum, maybe you could ask them and respond for them too?
Breakfast will be on regardless of the weather, so if it rains and we don't ride then we'll kick off at around 09:00

No need to bring anything as we'll be starting immediately post ride as we would at Bobos and "bringing" anything would be difficult! So, unless you want to drop off comfy clothes before hand and have a shower at our place or have specific dietary requirements, then nothing.sounds good to us. What would you like us to bring? geoff & marian
If we move on into lunch then we may have to make a dash to the supermarket but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
And of course day 3 of the boxing day test will be on for those so inclined.
If get some sleep the night before I will do the ride - hanging out for a decent ride after a few weeks o/s - and would therefore take up your offer of hospitality. Thanks.

Is it OK if I smell like a man ?
I thought I would give anyone coming to breakfast a preview of Stuart in action. Lucky for you all - I am the helper and Stuart will be the cook (he is quite good) !! I am usually there to ensure he stops taking constant swigs of champagne and stops talking long enough so you can all get your breakfast on time. By the way for those that have already asked - NO YOU WON'T BE GETTING LOBSTER!! Hope to see some of you on the ride and for breakfast.

Hi All,
Just reminding every one that no matter what the weather is like Sunday, catering has been factored in (taking account a few strays that may turn up) so breakfast at 1 Arlington st, Dulwich Hill is still on. If it rains you can sleep in and turn up at 9am. Maybe even a beer and champers waiting.
Menu - Bacon and Egg wraps/ or toast, Gourmet sausages, smoothies, Home made berry and white chocolate muffins (made by Jo - so if they taste like rocks - eat at your own risk !!).
Hope to see you tomorrow.

Joanne says - Thanks every one for turning up, and especially to Marian, Geoff, Camilla, Ted , Adrian and Ian (the coffee king) - who just got in there and helped to pull it all off - especially after we realised the big turn out. The coffee and the food would not have been served on time had it not been for these guys. I guess that is Dulwich Hill Club at it's best.
Apologies to any one that didn't get fed, but we were glad to see you all!!!
Stuart says: Thanks again to all the helpers mentioned above - couldn't have done it without you all and of course all the people who turned up and ate the food and drank the bubbles, beers, smoothies, juice and coffee.

Thanks to Jo, Stu and helpers, for a fantastic breakfast. The mix of beer, smoothie, coffee, juice and water really went down well.
Oh and also thanks for the loan of the pump after mike and I's tires decided to give up on life.

Go to photo bucket as Flickr only lets you put 200 images up before they want you to pay for the service. Here's a sample of the pictures - if they don't appear it's because Picasa has changed the URL syntax - again!! I might put them up on Flickr if I get motivated
Hi Jo & Stuart,
I just wanted to add my thanks! It was a great breakfast and the perfect start to Ted's birthday. Thanks also for the thanks, but I didn't actually do anything, except maybe get in the way of the real chefs and help drink a few bubbles.
Love the photos!
Camilla
