I'm trying to find a bike bag / box for taking my bike over to Europe ? Anyone got one for sale or got any suggestions of what to buy? It's be good to have one that carries 2 bikes as I might buy a newbie while I'm over there.
Any recommendations? Or anyone got one for sale ?
Wanted - bike bag / box
Bike Bags / cases consumed a lot of on-line time for me. We ended up buying Evoc Soft Cases >> http://www.wiggle.co.uk/evoc-bike-travel-bag-280-litre/ There are for and against for all types. Many people recommend cardboard boxes as you can leave them at the airport / first hotel room and get another on the way back. No way are there bags / boxes etc that take two bikes. best to ship a new bike back separately. Torpedo 7 do a cheap box that comes Dougie recommended.
Questions to ask yourself include:
Will you be able to leave the bag / case somewhere when you arrive or will you have to transport it around?
What's your baggage allowance?
Are you taking a carbon or alu / steel bike?
Will you get more use out of it after the big Europe trip?

The box is in storage & I need to check it over (it is in good condition from memory) before offering for sale & working out a price.
Will post in For Sale forum soon as poss.
Let me know if you have any questions or need further info.
