Well it's no Tour de France, but it's still a Grand Tour. Some fierce climbs. Decent preview here: http://cyclingtips.com.au/2013/08/2013- ... a-preview/ Stage 20 looks a night to watch - Sun 15 Sept
I like Rodriguez, but Nibali will give it a big shake.
Smattering of stages on SBS, but my guess is Eurosport will be full of coverage

Can't wait. For me it's way better than the tdf... Racing wise. Landscape is ugly as hell!

Contador is badly faded compared to the pre-suspension version. Interpret that how you will
Love Rodriguez! Hope he wins this time.Well it's no Tour de France, but it's still a Grand Tour. Some fierce climbs. Decent preview here: http://cyclingtips.com.au/2013/08/2013- ... a-preview/ Stage 20 looks a night to watch - Sun 15 Sept

Those mountains look nasty to me..My legs were in pain just looking at them..
Nice write up of last year , hope some one makes the race worth watching in Contadors absence this year.

Great to see Matthews get the win last night after his 3rd the night before - could be be the Degenkolb of 2013?

Phenomenal shift from Tony Martin - 174 km time trial and only missed getting the win by 20 meters. Cancellara was the driving force to shut Martin down in last half km - cant help but think he just wanted to spoil win for Martin. Would have been massive boost for Martin before worlds
I so much wanted him to win it ... Bling in the mix still at the end ... the future of Aussie sprinting?Phenomenal shift from Tony Martin - 174 km time trial and only missed getting the win by 20 meters. BTW, classic video of Bling ...

Bling is certainly the man of the moment. Notable that he won stage with no massive train or leadout from Green Edge. Could you see Matt Goss doing that?
Must say though I reckon Caleb Ewan is the future of Aust sprinting

Given all the miles and climbing you are doing, I doubt you can still straight anyway.Well I'm in Spain, with over 100 TV channels and can't find the Vuelta on any of them!

Any one else noticed the DHBC jersey in the crowd for the presentations at the end of last night's stage? If you have it taped look to the left as the camera pans back when Horner get the leaders jersey.
