Wouldn't mind giving it a go, but think I might need some of slower riders to join in. Have only done the ride once - a few weeks back, so not sure I'd hang in with the faster riders. Any slowies up for it?
Hi guys. great to have a couple of interested people. Geoff and I are actually doing it on the tandem tomorrow so we are not worried about the pace. BTW, we are always good to sit behind and draft off! We hope the weather is not as wet as today. Just so that nobody is confused, this is from Marian and Geoff S.
So now we know who "malee" is.
after riding in the rain for the last 2 days for some strange reason Marian doesn't want to ride this morning. i'm going to reset the alarm for 7 and see what the weather is like. If it's keeps raining, is anyone interested in having a coffee at Cafe Bo Bo at 9.30?

Did't get to ride this weekend, I'm very depressed.
Same here but planning to take the kids to Centennial Park this arvo, if the weather clears up.Did't get to ride this weekend, I'm very depressed.
I've had enough with these long weekend weather. For what I can remember, there hasn't been a dry long weekend in the past 12 months. And today, the rain cleared with blue sky at noon and decided to take the whole family out to Centennial for some riding with friends at 2pm. Two laps later, everyone got caught in a heavy down pour. Here I am now, back at home, machine machine going, sore throat and running nose. One cr*p of a long weekend!
well i rode to Kurnell this afternnoon on my mountain bike (tractor) with a mate on his tractor. thats it for this weekend ride wise. On Sat I was walking and my knee got all out of alignment, it's back in alignment now. I wonder does anyone else get that? the legs become used to riding which is a whole lot different muscle and position wise to walking....
Don't quite understand. Did you knee dislocate? Otherwise it's hard to get it "out of alignment".On Sat I was walking and my knee got all out of alignment, it's back in alignment now. We didn't get up until late and took the dogs for a walk for some exercise.
We'll be at track on Wednesday.
Sailing starts tomorrow so hopefully the wind wont be as bad as tonight. Wind speeds of 67km/hr were recorded at Canterbury this evening.

It probably felt like quite a long distance. Couple of months ago I rode to Sans Suzi with a beginner rider, 25k return. It felt like a lot longer ride.well i rode to Kurnell this afternnoon on my mountain bike (tractor) with a mate on his tractor. thats it for this weekend ride wise. It was just me and my i-pod.
There was a few sprinkles fo rain on my way to marrickville but otherwise a dry ride with a head wind going down so geoff and Marian were missed for their draftability, but none the less a good ride after having not gotten out of bed on sunday morning.
