Do you have any Cycling Films and Docos?

Hi Folks,

I was just wondering if anyone had any good cycling films or docos that they could lend me?
Some friends have organised a pop up shop to celebrate the Tour de France
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Under-new ... 0182009534

They'll be running live coverage and daytime highlights during the month. There's an opportunity to screen a film at the venue... we just need a film.

Any thoughts, suggestions, offers? At the moment we've just got BMX Bandits!

Cheers

Adrian

Is that an inspiring doco or horror film? Can't decide after seeing the trailer.
To have a chance of winning, competitors must be riding for 22 hours a day

I've got Breaking Away on DVD.

Also, You-Tube has classics like Sunday In Hell, Stars and Watercarriers etc.

I've got DVD's of Hell on Wheels, The Hard Road, A Sunday in Hell, and Bartali. Just let me know if you want to borrow any. I've got stuff on a HD as well, just can't remember what.

I've got 'Ride with George' - the doco about Hincapie and 'Come ride with me' , featuring Liz Hatch talking about her life and training ... both of these are AVI's and not really 'films' I guess.
You may find some films here >> http://cyclingtorrents.nl including several 'race across America'

'Tete en cours'e (1973) www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMIhCjAbaNw
Classy production. No commentary. Largely a doco on Eddy Merckx. Comes in 8 parts on youtube.

'Greatest Show on Earth' (1974) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8oh9gy7uvs
The entire 80min doco is on youtube in one download. Cheesy music and lousy post production dubbing (ie. they did not record sound while shooting), but great visuals. Giro d'Italia 1973.

Pour Un Maillot Jaune (1965) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLTvuIyEVMw
TdF 1965. Comes in 5 or 6 parts and the resolution is not that great.

Then there is the TdF greats probably produced in 2006 or thereabouts. It has a yellow cover. Covers 100 years of the TdF and all the 5 time winners, including Armstrongs infamous 6 wins. You can pick this up from most libraries. I believe City of Sydney has a copy for loan.

PLUUSSS: We got 2 of those crazy Athlete Lab bikes that you can ride a simulated stage of the tour, in real time if you choose. Far out. #tdf just got better."
