Points are awarded for the top 4 place getters of each event. 5,3,2 and 1
The Metropolitan Champion will be the rider with the most accumulated points.
Should riders be on equal points the TT ranking will decide placing

We are just waiting on approval by CNSW Technical Director for the program as there are some modifications to the CNSW Tech regs to allow the event to fit into one day.
So the new proposed events will be:

Elite: 2000M Ind. Pursuit, Men Derby, 10km Scratch Race
Elite Women 2000M Ind. Pursuit, Women Derby , 5km Scratch Race
U19/M 2000M Ind. Pursuit, Derby,7.5km Scratch Race
U19/W 500M Time Trial, Derby ,5km Scratch Race
Masters 35-44 500M Time Trial, Derby, 5km Scratch Race
Masters 45- 54 500M Time Trial, Derby,5km Scratch Race
Masters 55+ 500M Time Trial, Derby, 5km Scratch Race
Women Masters 500M Time Trial, Derby,5km Scratch Race

The above program is a lot larger (longer) than the original proposed format so there will also need to be an alteration to the start time
I would imagine that an 11:30am or 12noon start for Pursuits and 1pm for TT's would suffice

Hey guys this looks like a cracker event, there is something for everybody. Very much like an omnium except with no combined score. It hasn't been run for a number of years, so lets gets our entries in & support it!!!

At least they don't need to race Peter Barnard like us poor MMAS04 riders

I've entered, however, Peter Banard's name almost put me off.
This will be hard for me, l can feel it now!

Start list is looking pretty dismal - not many DHBC'rs on there anyway. Who from our club has competed in this in previous years?

Its only been put on as a vet event in the last few years. Dunno the last time it was elite.

I expect numbers to swell dramatically on the final day (this is normal)
U23's will not be a standalone category it fits into Elite.
Masters are 10 year age groups

Racing against Peter Barnard; how good is it going to work on Monday to tell your colleagues that you got beaten by a World Champion and a world record holder? Better still if he is ill and you beat him.

Third time I'd ever raced on a Velodrome I had to race Peter Barnard 1 on 1. You can guess the outcome LOL
