Worry not.
What will be the internal traffic impacts and closures?

PADDINGTON GATES: closed all day.
JERVOIS AVE GATES: closed all day.
PARKES DRIVE: closed ALL DAY from Paddington Gates to Dickens Drive.
HAMILTON DRIVE: closed ALL DAY
LOCH AVENUE: closed ALL DAY between Dickens Drive and Robinson Drive
DICKENS DR: closed ALL DAY east of Parkes Drive no parking between Grand and Loch

CYCLE LANE: Open.

HORSE TRACK: The horse track will also be closed from Café Corner on Grand Drive to Loch Ave for the entire period of site occupation from 19 March until 1 April 2009. On event day, it will be closed from Robertson Rd Gates at the Chicane past Café Corner to Loch Avenue until 12.00 pm then closed to ALL equestrian use.

JOGGING TRACK: closed ALL DAY between Café Corner and Loch Avenue for the entire period of site occupation from 19 March until 1 April.

CHILDREN’S PLAYGROUND AT CAFÉ: will be closed. Additional playgrounds are located at Paddington gates, the Leaner’s Cycleway and in Queens Park.

CENTENNIAL PARKLANDS DINING: the restaurant and café will not be open to the public. The kiosk will be open from 7.30 am and close at 12.00 pm when the Festival commences.

RESTRICTED PARKING within the Parklands:

NO PARKING on Grand Drive between Robertson Road Gates and Robinson Drive (near York Road Gates)
NO PARKING on Jervois Avenue
NO PARKING on road closures (see above details of road closures)
Mobility Access Permit Holder parking on Parkes Drive near the Shelter Pavilion
Taxi drop off zone on Parkes Drive south of Dickens Drive.
All gates open as per normal hours EXCEPT PADDINGTON GATES AND JERVOIS AVE GATES which will be closed to vehicles all day.
