Apparently the reason for the long ride time was that Peter broke a chain at the most distant part of the course and had to wait for over an hour for a replacement.

Apparently the reason for the long ride time was that Peter broke a chain at the most distant part of the course and had to wait for over an hour for a replacement.
So that would give him an average of say 30kph on the bike, which is pretty impressive
