Audax Orange Weekend

If you are looking for a great weekend of riding on quiet country roads, come and join us at the Orange weekend being held on the Labour Day long weekend on October 4/5 with rides on the Saturday and Sunday and time to relax in a great country town and sip some vino on the Sunday afternoon and Monday.

This was originally billed as the Cowra Weekend but regrettably all accommodation is booked out there, hence the shift to Orange.

The ride offerings and route maps are as follows:

Saturday October 4

Part 2 (reached the link limit)

All rides on Saturday will start at 7am and lighting/reflective vest rules will apply for the 200km option. Sunday’s 108km ride will start at 7.30am.

Check out the Audax website for lighting/reflective vest requirements.
Ride HQ and start/finish will be at the Mid-City Motor Lodge which is a reasonable 3 star motel at 245 Lords Place in the CBD with plenty of eating options close by. They have double rooms for approx $110 per night. Templars Mill Motel (RSL) is a few blocks west on Byng St and is a good alternative but a little more expensive. I would recommend booking accommodation earlier rather than later as Orange can get busy over the long weekend.

We hope to organise a great social evening on the Saturday night probably at the Mt Canoblas Hotel which is 150m from the Mid City Lodge.

Online registration is now open as follows:
Saturday (Day 1) https://regonline.activeglobal.com/Register/Checkin.aspx?EventID=1604665
Sunday (Day 2) https://regonline.activeglobal.com/Register/Checkin.aspx?EventID=1604684

Hope you can join us. Any queries/questions to me please at grahamjones@live.com or call on 0412 949885

Safe Riding

Graham Jones
