Stunning roads
Next summer. I think maybe do L'Eroica, then some rustic dining and riding in Istria and then some sailing in Dalmatia.so when are the valley wheelers off to Italy then?
I'd like to sail in to Venice. Haven't done that before and it's supposed to rate.

The bike with the big rear disk wheel, is there only one of those? I think I've seen some photos of it been ridden in Auckland
Decide what you want. Italian, British, Australian? 30s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s? Geared, single-speed or fixed? Lots of choices. Any of the Valley Wheelers would be happy to spend an hour boring you with what to buy, where to buy, how much to pay etc etc. This guy from WA completed the 200km l'Eroica on a bike (a Krapf appropriately enough) he picked up off the council cleanup.Loved that vid. Inspired to acquire a classic bike. Where to start?
Dunno, you might have seen it in NZ. It's Francesco Moser's "big wheel" bike. He set the indoor sea-level hour record on it in 1988.The bike with the big rear disk wheel, is there only one of those? I think I've seen some photos of it been ridden in Auckland
