A friend just told me about this. Apparently it is a film night and Jim Fitzpatrick, the penultimate bike historian will be talking. People with 1930s bikes are encouraged to bring them along.
Venue is St Mary's Cathedral in the city. $15 admission fee. Register below.

Any takers?

Sorry, I'd been meaning to post about this, but forgot in all the fixie excitement last weekend. I'm keen to go.

There are several sessions over the next few days (i believe).
Think the Saturday (27th Oct) is the big one, with Jim Fitzpatrick (Bicycle and the Bush author).

Just bought my $15 ticket. Sat 27 Oct from 6pm. PROGRAM 5.
St Mary's Cathedral square.

Everyone planning on coming. Bring a cushion, a balakie, and warm cloths. it gets chilly after a while.

and you don't have to BYO, there is a bar on site selling really good wine for $25 a bottle, but bring nibbles

see ya!

A good night was had by all. Pete, Michelle, Marc and myself rode in, meeting Ron Webster when we got there. Lizanne was selling cupcakes and Adrian and Pia turned up a bit later. It was interesting to hear Jim Fitzpatrick talk and Marc and I bought signed copies of his book.

We've all decided we want to go to Gaiole in Italy to ride L'Eroica and experience the strada bianchi (white gravel roads) of Tuscany.

Here we are with Ron and his friend (whose name escapes me).

thanks great night out. and good to see all the valley wheelers getting together. I need to party with the vintage guys more often.

P.S. that skin suit was awesome! so much fun wearing it around the festival. the back room of the track has so many surprises
