Hi All

We are planning a ride from Sydney to Melbourne then fly over to Launceston for the Penny festival at Evandale and wondering whose interested.
Departing on Saturday 11th of Feb 2012, catching the train to Wollongong or Kiama to avoid the Sydney traffic and riding along to coast planning to arrive in Melbourne on the 22nd and flying over on the Friday the 24th.
We will be using motels for accommodation and eating out. It will be summer so we wont need to carry much gear. Most days will be about 100kms

I'm interested! But I can't really commit to anything until later in the year. But definitely pencil me in for it :)

Actually just re-reading, going coastal? I think I would prefer to go inland via the snowies if I was going to take the time off for it. But again, will think about that later in the year.

Some photos of a trip I did this time last year.
Bundanoon to Bairnsdale.
There are heaps of ways you can go but it sounds better if you start and finish at towns that start with the same letter :D

Awesome

Have been to one of the morons. I found it highly amusing but was with some europeans who were far too sensible for their own good and tried to correct my pronunciation.

Them "ya, but ze word has un accent so it is like murr-on"

Me " mate, I know a moron when i see one"
