Club members seem to be keen to do every crazy thing possible on two wheels, so why not on one?

Unicycles $40 allegedly down from $170
Unicycle enthusiasts - you have 24hrs to get a cheap one
I have enough trouble keeping upright on two wheels, so no. But all those clever people who can ride their bikes with no hands - I guess for them it would be no problem. If I had a lazy $200 I'd buy 5 and insist that races are run at the velodrome.
Being able to ride a bike with no hands has no bearing on being able to ride a unicycle, they are a entirely different beast.I have enough trouble keeping upright on two wheels, so no. But you can borrow my 36" wheeled unicycle, that's fast enough for Saturday slowies. As long as you don't mind looking down on everyone.

Are the cranks on the correct side? Personally, I'd put the seat post clamp at the back.
Mine needs a warning on it to say that I put it together. I also need a pump that does non pista valves..
Can you ride it yet?
