Does anyone know if my "bush mechanic" fix allowed the guy with the broken dérailleur cable to make it back to Marrickville or where ever he was headed?

I didn't see him on my way back, but then again I had to stop on Taren Point Rd to refuel. The Wall is not pleasant.

I was looking out for him on the way back but never spotted him, lot of riders around though. At least he wasn't on the side of the road looking for a fresh twig.

Did you put a stick in it?

I've got away in the past with just adjusting the max adjuster screw fully in.
