This Saturday, my local BUG (ASHBUG) is oranising two bike training courses at Richard Murden Reserve in Haberfield. There will be two training courses offered on the day. The first is aimed for people with very little experience of riding a bike. The second is aimed at people who are comfortable on the bike but may lack confidence riding with traffic. Please not that both courses are aimed for adults.

I realise that these courses are not useful for DHBC riders but if you have any friends or workmates who are interested in riding, these may be good way to encourage them back onto the bike.

Onya Bike Training Courses

Saturday 22 September 2007
Times
9am - 12pm - Back on your Bike
1pm - 4pm – Commute by Bike

Event Details
Would you like to get back into cycling or learn how to commute by bike then these courses are for you.

Back on your bike – focus on learning about gears,
brakes and maneuverability

Commute by Bike – Learn about safe riding in traffic, commuter routes and using gears.

BRING – A well maintained bike, helmet, sunscreen and water.

Location
Both courses will begin at Richard Murden Reserve, Hawthorne Pde, Haberfield. Meet at the netball courts.
