Most Magpie Attacks in 1 Ride??

During my ride to and from the 'Gong on Sunday i had 5 Magpie 'incidents'...is this a club record for most strikes in a ride? Any advances?

I always find Magpies are motivational, giving a boost to your speed.

I've only ever had 1 incident per ride. I did have some idiot forcing me off the road near Wolli Creek Station. Should've kicked his car, but only tried hitting it with my hand at the time.

You are right about motivation...I outsprinted every one of the little blighters...none of them got a second hit...now if i could just train one to give me a swoop and that extra adrenaline boost when it comes to sprint time out at DGV!

How's it goin' Grant? There's one bastard of a magpie on the way up to Mount Lofty here in Adelaide. It's got me the last two weekends, swooping me 3 times each time.

I had 3 attacks on Sunday, but from 2 magpies.

The main problem I find is that the first you know about them is when they run into your helmet...

Louie and I were strafed by one on our way up to Waterfall yesterday. Only saw its shadow in front of us and then we accelerated.
