The next DHBC Adventure Ride will be to Bobbin Head. We'll ride across the Harbour Bridge, up the Pacific Highway, into Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park at Mount Colah, down Bobbin Head West, up Bobbin Head East, stop for coffee / breakfast in North Turramurra and return via the Pacific Highway.

Please note that this is a 'no drop' ride.

Details as follows:

Ride: Bobbin Head Bash

Start: Marrickville (post office square) at 6:00am

Route: https://www.strava.com/routes/2602462

Pace / effort: C25s / C28s

Distance: ~80km

Elevation gain: ~1,600m

Finish: City at ~10:00am / Marrickville at ~10:30am

Notes: Please bring 2 x spare tubes, pump, water, snacks + cash for coffee / breakfast. Bail-out options are available, as we'll be fairly close to train lines.

Anyone who's riding this feel the need for some more k's? Like to do three gorges? Ride out with the bunch but then do Galston, Berowra, Bobbin and home.

Well done Peter & Paul,

You seem to have the formula right.

What I like about your rides is that you are keeping a pace slow enough to keep the less advanced riders in play, yet the rides have areas in them that the guys who want to push themselves still get a bit of chance.

Well done to both of you for coming up with this. I think it will only get more popular...
