Alternative route etween King George’s rd and Bexley rd

Anyone ride the M5 between King George’s rd and Bexley rd? (or did you before the road works? I used to about once a month.)

As part of the M5 East upgrade you will no longer be able stay on the motorway between King George’s rd and Bexley rd.

Want to have a say in the alternative route? Roads and Maritime are looking for people to talk to about the route - this week if possible. (The local BUG has not been very helpful apparently).

Hi.
I live between that area - right next to the M5 on the West side. (Glamis St)
There's a bike track next to the M5 (both sides actually) that runs that entire length.
I dont understand the issue? But would like to know more.
