Hi all,

Kerry and I are riding to Kurnell on Monday leaving the Marrick at 6.30am. All club members are welcome but please note this is not a club sanctioned ride.

The ride is no drop and roughly C25 cruiser pace. The ride is not a timed gran fondo or sufferfest or let's see who we can drop contest. It is a social leisurely ride to Kurnell, chance for a chat and to experience the joy of cycling.

Plan is to stop at the cafe at Kurnell for coffee/breakfast if open. Bring cash as the cafe does not have eftpos. If the cafe is closed we may stop at Brighton instead depending on time, traffic and group consensus.

Cut and past the obligatory list if you intend to join us for a fun Monday morning cruise.

If I can force myself up and out of bed (my main challenge at the moment) I will be there!

I missed this mornings Waterfall run. Made up by going to the gym instead.

Forgot to add that I require adult supervision near plate glass windows at the Kurnell cafe.

No worries Colin. We have Kerry - she is the adult in our relationship.

We had 10 then 12 today for a great ride to Kurnell. The wind did not deter us - it spurred us on to coffee!!!

Thanks for a great ride everyone and apologises for my dodgy lane change - it was a caffeine deprivation decision (that's my story anyway).

It is great to have such a ride every now and then and let everyone enjoy a chat etc. We are such a diverse club which is what makes us so strong and why I am a proud member.

I will try and organise more of these rides in the future.

Until next time!!

Cheers,

Todd

Sorry I missed the ride due to tender abrasion in the nether regions (brought on by wearing an old pair of shorts on a ride on Friday). Sounds like it was enjoyable in spite of the breeze. Looking forward to the next ride (and to regaining comfort in a seated position).

Thanks for organising Todd!

Was a good hitout for me after 2 weeks off the bike. My legs are sore today! Cracking pace set by Adam and Marc, especially in that dreadful headwind.

Thanks for the ride Todd.

Was a good morning and a bit different to the usual weekly rides (well, when I manage to do them, hehe)

Cool bananas
