Any interest in riding the 4 Gorges leaving Marrickville Road Cafe at 5.30am Saturday the 24th?
It's about 130km return and we should be back about 11am, pace will be cruisey middies and regrouping at the top of the hills.
Have a great ride.

I am not entirely convinced this is a good thing:

Part of me thinks I really should be seeing the Beasts of Bourbon around the corner at the Factory on Friday night. Before some smarty says do both, a night of the rocking and the rolling and the drinking and the smoking does not make for an early start and 4 gorges. And I really dont think I could see the Beasts without the drinking and the smoking - a pavlovian response.......

I wanna get funky - but I dont know how......

Only concern is about return via north shore during peak Saturday traffic - can you tell me what route you come home on?

Relax Andrew, the ride home is cool. If we return via the highway you can keep pace with the traffic, otherwise Andrew M can lead us on his tour of the north's cycling infrastructure which always returns us safe and sound and stress free.

Thanks for the ride Peter. Bring on the 5/6 Gorges you talked about. I reckon we could add Akuna and West Head in the mix for a bunch of pain.

No worries Anna, next week can be a later start if you guys want to come north. And I'm always open to adjusting the start time of a ride if we can get more starters - the more the merrier.
Have a great ride,
Peter
