Thanks Stuart, I have encountered time limits for editing on other forums and assumed it applied here!

Presumably the route is similar to the normal sunday waterfall ride (passing through west botany road), we will join you guys at the intersection of west botany road and bestic road if sleep do not take over.

Thanks Todd for leading. Apologies for the mix up and thanks to all for waiting at Bestic St. Slightly quicker than a cruise, but enjoyable! Low point: no coffee at Kurnell!

What a great ride, thanks for posting Colin. Even though the pace was more than a Kruize there was more talking than on any other ride so really enjoyable. A note for the future, maybe we can stop for coffee in Brighton if no cafe is open at Kurnell.

Also, Kerry and I ride regularly to Kurnell on a Saturday. Happy for anyone to join us, the more the merrier.

Thanks Todd. Glad people enjoyed the ride.

Nick has set a precedent for coffee (he called it a "leisurely breakfast") at Brighton! A definite alternative must.

I got stuck at the back, something I will try to avoid in the future, and yo-yo-ed back from Tarin Point: meaning I had very little energy left over for talking! People sitting on the front for long periods of time is the probable cause (even if tacked on to another bunch), so "enforcing" roll-overs on a regular basis might be a good idea for Kruizes!?

What time and from where on your Saturday ride? Can you post when you are riding?

If you want to extend slightly there are coffee options at the southern end of Cronulla beach.
Far enough from MRC that you can justify another coffee at the finish.

Hi all,

Yes, I'd be interested in a Saturday morning Kurnell outing.

Love the idea of coffee at Brighton! Was thinking of joining the saturday slowies to centenial park since i can't make sunday waterfall ride, but reconsidering option for kurnell now

 if there are loads of people doing/keen on the Kurnell ride on saturday, possibility of making it a regular club ride? ..Just an idea..

Just looked to see if was a kurnell ride tomorrow. Will go to cafe to meet up with the slowies. But hit me up if you want to go to kurnell instead!

Cool bananas.

Bill, Todd is going to post details next week confirming a Kurnell ride on Saturday 22 June. Intention is to meet Kerry and him at top of Bestic St at 6:30am, so will probably leave Marrickville Cafe 6:15am (or earlier if need be?).

Kerry and he go every second week; could be a good alternate with Slowies.

I like the idea of a Kurnell ride very much but what pace would such rides keep to (realistically)?

Todd may have a different idea and it is his ride, but I would like it to be a no-drop ride thus pace dictated by the slowest rider; hopefully 25+kph.

Of course, if anyone wanted to up the heart rate and regroup ...

Ok, well I just managed to hang on for dear life with the 25s to Waterfall yesterday - speed is not my forte!

If you managed Waterfall, even just, you will manage Kurnell. It is easier, flatter and more scenically attractive! It's a good way to prepare for Waterfall.

Ok, well I can't do Waterfall this week due to a HM committment and was wanting something longer than slowies for Saturday so this option works well for me :)
