Six punctures (out of 10 rnp starters) by 7:30am today. Someone angered the puncture gods today! Is anyone starting at Micks?
I ended up missing the rest of the bunch at 7-11, & can confirm it's not much fun riding back to the city solo after 8:30am. Probably should have turned around with Mark and Co halfway between audley and the bundeena turnoff.
Cheers,
Alan
It must have been a record.
I saw Mike, Fouad et al at Waterfall and caught up with them there. Found out then that only Mike had tubes left. And Fouad had another flat at 7-11.

My first pinch flat was a pinch flat (big dipper). 100psi for my weight might be a bit on the low side.
My two other flats must have been caused by what appears to be a dodgy batch of tubes (Vittoria) that were failing around the valve for no aparent reason.
And thanks Michael for sparing a tube.
1st Sunday of the month is in two weeks and we will do the RNP again, hopefully this time with no flats.
