News Flash!

Mikesbytes (MikeC) has set the handsfree lap world record for Centennial Park this morning, at 6:41 using a fixie.

It was a moving start from the no-stopping signpost in front of the Cannons hills. The event was conducted under strict supervision (by me) using Swiss timing devices. The rider was also certified to be dope free.

Pre-attempt certification of equipments:

Congratulations Mike!

During the post record setting event interview attended by worldwide media representative (SimonS), MikeC was quoted as saying, "I wasn't going that hard so as not to discourage future challengers."

Well the No hands record has been well and truly beaten;
- Alex Chub 6m23 (estimated)
- Tim Liewellyn 6m25

The UCI board will meet next month to determine whether they should be stripped of their records for wearing non compliant clothing.
