Omnium this sat? I really need the training, and would maybe like to do some motor bike as well

I'd be up for it! Feels like I haven't been on a bike in months...

It would be good as I train for Sydney Cup. But I also need to get some off road training in.

Torn.

Time to take some time off work perhaps...

We have the possibility of having alot of sprint events, but will hopefully mix it up.

I'll probably be able to show up, but i'm hopefully doing a long ride in the morning, so don't expect too much from me.

Damn! I'm out. I saw the surgeon this morning and he's banned me from riding for another 2 weeks, until my back heals properly. I guess that means I can't do the Sydney cup either. This is driving me INSANE! 3 months off a bike...

I can at least come down and help Lindsay miscount laps. And live vicariously through the rest of you.

Camilla I hope your shoulder continues to heal well. There is also the BBQ if Lindsay does not need you.

I can't make the Omnium but am interested in riding Sat morning. Was planning to go to the park with slowies but am up for alternatives.

I'll probably just be doing RNP or something similar, maybe with an extra loop of stanwell tops. Riding hasn't gone to plan this week, mainly because i didn't feel like riding in the wet.

Forgot to add, 6:30am at Micks is probably easiest.

I decided it wasn't worth it for the half an hour worth of slowies I could do, would have been better off going to the park by my self

Bummer I am missing another Omnium, yet another social engagement. I will wash down my sorrows with a lot of french champagne!

Go hard anyway...I'll wish I was there.

Don't worry Othy, last night i came to the decision that with all the rain that was going on, i'd cut any losses early and not set the alarm.

Hopefully the track will be dry later.

I headed out, randomly met James and rode with him out to Sutherland. Then I went into the park at Audley and went around through Stanwell Tops.
Nice morning for a ride.
I don't think I'll be able to make the omnium though. I'll try to drop in for the BBQ afterwards for an onion and sauce sandwich.

OK, I'll be bringing the official monkey bike helmet and a pedal upgrade (pending stock). With the aerodynamic improvements of the monkey bike helmet, we should see Christian regain the 333 time trail record.

I forgot to organise picking up my track bike from Matt early enough, so i've missed it, and instead i'm relaxing at home.

Great photos Ian!

Thanks for being the official photographer for the afternoon, and for putting air in my tyres!

And a big thanks to Camilla and the Kevins' for running the show, and the delicious (and very addictive) BBQ!!!

A great afternoon.

It's Purple-licious!!!

When others were racing yesterday and Purple was resting in the middle of the Velodrome, those racing mentioned that purple was blinding them with purple bling!

Purple Power!
