Well seeing as how both Simon and Tim are down in tassie racing penys, I thought I best make the ritual track open announcement.

What - Muswellbrook Track Open

When - Saturday 28th Feb

Where - Ron King Velodrome, Wilkinson Avenue, Muswellbrook

Why - When else are you going to get the change to race on a 165m velodrome.

So far the starting list is Simon, Tim, Christian, Nick B, and myself. It should be a good night of racing followed by an even better meal from a fast food outlet on the journey home.

Alex.

not a crash or any thing, he hurt his knee in the century, and it got worse through the week. He isnt totally sure whats gonna happen, he is still hopeful of racing next week.

Tim's right about small gearing, 87 - 88" is about right as it's difficult to get on top of a big gear due to the tightness of the 165m track.

Simon said they remind us every year about singles, they reckon its easy to roll them. I must not be paying attention every year :S

Good night.
I swapte between a and b grade through the night (did both in a couple of events.) I got 1st in the sprint derby final in b grade :D
Simon got a cvouple of seconds i think, and alex was up there putting attacks on the a graders!

Loved the track :D
