Ultegra 6800 Wheels - 11sp compatible

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone knew anything about putting a 10sp cassette on an 11sp compatible hub. I was recently involved in a pile up rendering my back wheel stuffed. As timing was on my side, I found a new set of Ultegra wheels at half price and my annual bonus was in the bank.

The new wheels came with a spacer for 10sp, but I'm not sure where to put it? Does it go in between the inside or outside of the cassette?

I can only figure that with 11sp cassettes, they've trimmed the width in between each gear to allow one more gear on the end, hence narrower chains also, but this would mean the overall width of the freehub is the same as a 10sp. I'm confused about the spacer, anyone got any ideas?

Thanks for any assistance on this!

Nevermind. Just found out on Velonews the spacer goes behind the largest cog.
