It's at least 8 hrs in the saddle
like race for x-mins=30 + tour mins = 8 hrs
there are 3 feeding stations and perhaps x 3 King of the Mountain (KoM) stages, that is there are x 3 distinct hill sections, much bigger than a Dapto ankle snapper...

well we did plan - communication breakdown was that the attack was on lap three, like 3 laps to go, but others thought it was attack on lap 3, with 11 laps to go, it makes things interesting :shock:

Thanks Lindsay for running the Omnium - very much appreciated. A lead out in the dead of Tempe night seems to deliver a more emphatic flying 200. My RM125 used to get tank slap - that's violent handlebar oscillation at speed, a menace to bring under control. Increasing speed stopped it, if it starts again, increase speed to counter, keep increasing speed until lift off :lol:

There is an argument that the interruption of the lap out counteracts any benefit in derived from riding 2k less.

92 is a solid gear for Dunc. Strength is good but you will actually get a better acceleration with utilizing cadence than strength.

If its a flat tyre its usual to return to the start area to get a wheel, tube - like there's no support car.

What gets me is that these riders are fresher, it's only a 14 lap race - like the bunch has done x laps where as the punctured rider is on x-1 laps.

Weiyun - do you remember we've seen this before. That Sunday just in front of Hanrob pet bording kennels. At the end of last hill up prior to the run down to the turn round over the waterfall bridge. A lady cyclist must of clipped a back wheel and shot out across both lanes and crashed on the medium...

Yes, there has been a lot of riders promoted up the grades over the past six months e.g. Adrian to C etc.

Not sure how to ascertain that wind splits the bunch, Mike thats your theory. I think it's more the psychology of it.

Some Photos taken at Oatley Park Racing Men in Red . Sorry Photos are not that good,still a beginner. Great shots Eric thanks. Eric (Kona MTB), rode over with Mike C and I to Oatley park. Mike C was late and no Bill. Half way there Bill popped up in his car. (You can't race at Oatley in that Bill)....
