Yeh, the plan went perfectly. After pulling the group off the front, I rolled back to the bunch to try to get on the front of it, but they weren't having none of that and rolled past me. The bunch left George to do all of the chasing. It was great to watch - professional even, I like those team tra...

I've discovered I don't even have an allen key big enough to get the crank off to check the taper.
Confirm - spindle is loose, Its Centaur thus I will need to slip down to LBS on Sat I'd say to get a new cartridge.

Campagnolo bottom bracket loose

Dsicovered quite a bit of movement in bottom bracket - simply this should need a tighten up - having recently serviced the Europa I'm a little concerned it may be wear -

Any thoughts - could it be wear - or just needs a tighten up?

thanks

James M completed a very nice exit on the back S's into the bush, adeptly using a sapling as a lean-to on coming to a halt in the jungle.

Several ducks were around. It was cold, but sunny. I saw 1 of Alex R's sprints, very impressive.

There was A grade and B grade only this week

I am waiting for the school holidays so that I can escape Sat PM duties and come back for a spin at Heffron. Miss it. Question is, should I go for D (old C) or C?

I got there late - what impressed me is that one chap (name, Doug?) went straight from the training run to race in D grade in first race - that was excellent, he slipped his pedal at the start then got it going under Geoff's chaperone Other feedback I heard was another new D grade rider said first t...

When did the paceline become a formal activity? Perhaps when there is significant disparity between the riders, then when on the mad mile the stronger riders should take turns on the front, while the others hang on for dear life. Like what we use to do. No Waterfall ride is ever the same. Fact of t...

Input to debate. There is perhaps 1 out of 100 times you would get a full bunch (maybe 30 riders when we've merged at 7/11), thru that turn into Parraweena Rd - In that situation I don't know what the call is if leading other than "cars approaching"? its a 400 metre stretch of road which i...

My 2 cents is...
I've Campagnolo - Centaur. Very happy with the precision of the changing - and its seems a very forgiving groupset, except as mentioned u bust say a break lever and yes they do cost. (edit thanks Weiyun) Correction Centaur is one level above Veloce....

I had a penang curry for lunch and was in two minds of what was happening...sorry about that - FYI. Simon warned that technically: "my pull up in the final sprint of an omnium race can lead to removal from the omnium altogether"...

Confirmed to Weiyun's Nalini size chart link (W. does this sound right to you?)
