Hi
Been with Ride to Work day for years now.
Anyone who isn't on this yet, may I suggest getting on. Waste not to log your effort to the cause.

Re: Cateye muscle in on Garmin territory
Always been keen to get a Garmin. This makes it more accessible.
One question; I always thought GPS-only data is not as good as when you have sensors hardwired into the system such as how Garmins are set up at the moment.
Constantly hear about irregularities on GPS reliant iPhone Strava readings.

Re: Basic Bike maintenance course, Sydney Park
Just got word that a new 'Bike Shed' has been launched at the All Saints Anglican Church (325 Stanmore Rd, Petersham). They meet up at 11am on Thursday for a free tune up, coffee and muffin. Rather inconvenient time but hopefully this will grow and so will it's opening times. They also plan to do we...

Commute from Haberfield to Sydney Uni
Writing this on behalf of a friend who's son recently had a minor mishap on Parramatta Rd, Camperdown. Am now looking for a safe yet fast commute from Haberfield (via Leichhardt?) to Sydney Uni's Law faculty. Spotted a DHBC person at the corner of Marion St and Tebbutt St, Leichhardt this morning at about 6.45am. He had sunglasses and could not recognise him. He was coming from the Haberfield side of Marion.

I am confident they won't be as bad as the Lady Carrington Rd track. If it is, there are several escape routes home. I believe Lizanne has detailed maps.
