I went out in the car at 8am to check out the extent of the rain.

Along Brighton Le Sands there were large volumes of water ponding on the inside lane which would have been very dangerous for bicycles.
Some cars were going through without slowing sending water everywhere.

Only saw one rider.

Sorry I didn't join you Michael L.

It seems as you have ownership of second position.

Congratulation Nick on first place in E grade and all the other DH riders in D grade.

Geoff wrote He who hesitates is lost :? Mike wrote when do entries close 8) On my calculations there are only 60 places left out of 150. Weiyun had calculated on Tuesday that the remaining places would be taken up by today. I estimate that you will be lucky to get a place by next Friday.

Weiyun you did not allow for the slowing down factor. Only 89 today.

Any further bets.

Hey Chris I like the lounge chair bike. All you need is a beer and the television. By the way I found the trelock LS 600 front light on Ebay. It is on sale at $26 plus postage of $7. It has an LED globe and is very bright and lasts a long time between recharges. There is also a halgon globe version ...

Your on fire.

Are you backing it up with a waterfall ride tomorrow as you did last time.

Any race reports from the other races where DH riders participated.

My 3 teenager sons are buying things on ebay and I have to pay for it.

I placed a bid on some bike gear yesterday and they were questioning me that I was spending too much on bike stuff.

My eldest son takes my car most of the weekend. At least he lets me use the bike.

Hey Mike

I agree with fixed gear in that it is better value to go to HP for 5 times than going there once.

Good on you both. Great average speed.

I will have to watch Jo on the hills from now on.

And I thought that steam were the only ones crashing lately.
