I'm heading out early Saturday morning if anyone else is keen to come along. I'd like to keep the pace pretty high (fast middies pace) but we usually re-group at the top of the climbs. There's the Spring Fat Tyre Festival at Ourimbah State Forrest (not too far away). http://www.wannaride.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=3&Itemid=2 It's an 8 1/4 hour ride. I've never done this race before, but I've ridden the trails, and they're a lot...

For those who are keen, the next 24hr is in Sydney (Wiseman's Ferry) in February. It looks like the organisers have booked a whole resort on site for riders to stay in (lodges and cabins are booked out but there are still powered sites available) which makes it a hell of a lot easier for the support...

Ok. Not long now. Let's see if we can get things organised so we don't needlessly double up on things. I guess it'd be easiest to add stuff we can all use under your name if you're bringing it. A few of us are planning a training ride on Saturday evening/night if people are interested. We'll be doing Glenbrook up to Woodford and then back again. All up it's about 50km. As it's a training ride,we're looking to push the pace a little, so we're aiming for 3 hours (it's usually 2.5 in the day)...

I sent an e-mail to the organisers regarding campsites for all of us. It looks like whoever turns up first can 'RESERVE' neighbouring sites for all of us. I won't be there until early Saturday morning. Is anyone planning to head in Friday afternoon/night? "The sites are pre-allocated in the sen...

Course map is up...No more red and blue courses. Just a day lap and a night lap.
I'm not sure if this is a good idea. It'll be a lot more congested at the start.

Considering what the rest of the bikes in Cuba are like, having 16 gears is as good as an engine. Here's what I had to kick around on in Cuba... http://api.ning.com/files/**k9fn60WcLM5pYQaxd-tzyBZsGcKSGkTaysXepgb2hq4lwjgqSbgmzmIgtLWx39/DSC_0156.jpg http://api.ning.com/files/AjO3SzHfxU3tqAsTqf8Nf60eY...

If not, should I just call up the Bundanoon hotel meself and book another room? Toff, I've put you in as taking the last bed at the pub. It looks like we're full ...

The Bundanoon Motel http://www.bundanoonmotel.com.au/ is where I stayed last year. It's a 100m walk around the corner (and you can still sneak back into the pub for breakfast). I've booked a room here again me Kevin and Myself to free up a bit of room at the pub. So at this stage there's still 1 bed...
