As with all bikes, you've got to watch the geometry. Right geometry for right conditions. Most track bikes have steeper head tubes and steeper fork rake which reduces the steering and is alright on a velodrome but abit inhibiting on the road. I think that we will aim for Saturday the 6/10/12 with an 8pm start to make sure the sun is down. I have acquired glow stick so we will have lots of colour.

I think they should have the team pursuit, Madison & omnium. However the omnium should be a team event in which each country can elect a maximum of one rider per event, with riders allowed to ride more than one event if they like. It would not only allow a lot more track riders to ride the Olymp...

Tim managing to have a chat with everyone we passed. I particularly found it humorous when Tim started singing 'I will survive' on the second climb. I'm entered in this one. Keen to ride the new surface, I have ridden one track before in Victoria that was surfaced with a similar tennis court like material and it was very smooth and fast & very nice to ride.
