There is an additional bike which you may want to add to the race Mike.
I picked up an Alenax yesterday. I will post some pics later today. If you google the name you will find some info on it. :)

Some kids I know borrowed my bike a while back and took it over to training at Dunc for the fun of it. One of them is quite tall and he manages to do wheelies on the bike.

If a race is put on, he would definately give you guys a run.

Adrian, It really isnt a biggie. If you want I can be mean and say get your own stall but if you only have a couple of things, there wouldnt be much logic in it. Has anyone told Al Sumner? I know he loves swap meets. He gets to clear out some of his junk in the shop to make room for the next lot he ...

Al doesnt have the internet. If he did, he would lose his computer in the shop before he got to use it. I will be seeing Al on Thursday or Friday so will pass the message on unless someone sees him before then.

Thanks for that Geoff,

I just spoke to Susie and will be meeting up for a ride at Homebush in the next few weeks but I dont live very close to Susie so a regular ride is tricky.

I told her how the Saturday slowies guys are a great bunch, so she is looking forward to catching up.

Did anyone record the Austral Wheelrace?

Hi Guys, Did any of you tape the austral wheelrace by any chance? I am hoping someone did. I promised I would tape it for a friend whose disabled son loves to watch the cycling. I got tied up with work yesterday and it completely skipped my mind. I am hoping to avoiding disapointment here so if anyo...

So I will see you on Sunday Mike? Weather permitting of course.

On the Redkite website it appears you can donate money on the day. I am not sure if there is an entry fee to enter.

There will be a sausage sizzle and kids activities there too aparently.

Hi Huw, Here's the link to the guy I was talking about. http://www.smallsolar.org/BTH/budgetbike/index.htm My big worry is that these Huffy-type bikes make good feelings when they're given, but they're essentially unrideable in the long term. In my mind, this leads unstoppably to the poor owner feel...

Hi Huw, you bike snob! - I'm Kidding. Despite the Kmart type bikes being at the bottom end of the quality chain, they are actually very useful for people who wouldnt otherwise be able to afford a bike. Ie; Newly arrived refugees and low income people with no transport. They are also a stepping stone...

Goulburn to Citi

Hi, for those not out cycling on Sunday I thought I would remind you that the Goulburn to Citi is on. There is the ride and also a lifestyle expo/festival which will be held in Camden. Jack Hepher will be attending for the day to chat to anyone interested in hearing stories about what it was like to...

Yes it is nice but I am having a hard enough time finding parts for the ones I have. I have banned myself from buying any more until the current ones are finished.
