Im in if the weather holds. Will be good to see how I go compared to the first time I rode it last year. I'll ride straight over to Victoria Road.

Hopefully my legs will feel good tomorrow, killed my legs with stair running this week!

I did the 3 gorges once earlier this year when I first started riding on the road bike and I still remember how hard it was. Doing 5 in one day would be a total killer and a candidate for a bikes bonus gear (pushing the bike up the hill on foot) :). The Entrance sounds awesome. Count me in Saturday,...

Guess the other option I have is to take my existing bike frame and use it, still in perfect condition. It might be a bit heavy but a good way to get fit! How difficult did you find converting a frame the first time you did it Toff? I'm going to check out the Masi, a lot of good reviews about it acr...

Getting a fixed gear bike

Hello, I am thinking of doing something stupid and retiring my flat bar road bike with its nice set of gears (which I think may actually blow up by the fun sounds it makes) and getting a fixed gear bike. Knowing nothing about what to get in a fixed gear bike apart from something that will match my j...

170km for me, I went and did an extra 60KM after the Akuna Bay ride after hearing everybody talk about the Gong ride. I left at sunrise and got back at sunset for an entire day on the bike with some breaks (it is still on my computer and funnily enough I haven't ridden the road bike since :? !). 150...

I hope her tests clear her of anything serious.

Looks like a hit-and-run in Northern NSW, sadly the cyclist was found passed away.

Was a great ride and certainly a good introduction for me to some evil hills :).

Thank you to James for organising and being patient and also to Tim for all the help and guidance. Look forward to doing this ride again in a while to check my fitness.

I'm interested as a slowy, haven't ridden this one before. Around 120km, fairly similar to Waterfall level? How are the hills?

Hello Orphic, I did the ride for the first time last Sunday (lucky you didn't come it was fairly wet and very windy and I spent a lot of time trying not to drink water off the road from the riders infront of me :)). My experience was it was a very good ride, the way up is a lot harder than the way b...

Hello, I'm new to riding long distances (more than 65km) but interested in coming along tomorrow if it is still on. Is it a bad idea to come to a RNP as an introduction ride?
