The ride to and back from the park is by the bunch. Within the park you can do anything you like, at any speed (within park regulation). There are fast riders as well as slow riders and you can join any. And then some climb hills. Everyone regroup at the gate at 8 for the return ride.

Slowies is a great introduction to riding in a group and for learning road and bike skills.
Most of the ride is on road with the majority being quiet back streets except for a short stretch on Enmore Rd on the way there. As this section is done at about 6.45 cars aren't a problem.
Pace is about 19-20 kms/hr. We ride at the pace of the slowest rider. Sometimes due to numbers we ride in 2 groups to make things more manageable.
The pace in the park varies as Weiyun has said. Sometimes there will be a paceline at about 28km/hr so people can practice riding in formation.

All welcome, just introduce yourself at there start and sing out if you get a flat as the group will stop and help.

Cheers

Geoff
