Track Pedals - Does anyone use Speedplay?

I'm interested on advice for choosing pedals for a track bike. I currently run Speedplay Zero's on my road bike and have a spare set to use for track. Does anyone use Speedplay's for track? I see a lot of people with SPD's and toe straps, etc.

Will the float be an issue? Any drawbacks with running the same for track?

I use speed plays at the track with no issues, and mine are light action also which means its easier to get your feet out. Having said that, I am unlikely to have that much power to rip my feet out of the pedals....which many guys would...which is why they have straps as an added safety.

I've got Speedplays Zero on my track bike.

Chances of me pulling a foot are slim to remote - mostly because of my legs tho, nothing to do with the pedal.

Leg extensions would fix that shortie.

A bit of sprint wouldn't go astray either. Where did I put those short-twitch fibres? Think I lost them in primary school, somewhere around little lunch.
