Assuming this is Waterfall in, Audley out

I was on 77.1 inches

The bike has 81 inches on it at the moment, perhaps I'll swap out the 48 with the 49 I've got lying around....

What is this?
I ride through the RNP fixed every now and then. 76 gear inches. Usually go in via Audley, out via Waterfall or Stanwell Park. Haven't come out from Audley though.

That's Waterfall in, Audley out

Definition as defined in the official DHBC communications handbook

Royal National Park
1. Always referred to as RNP
2. Only counts as a RNP ride if you depart from and return to somewhere in the inner west
3. The description of ride is described as;
3.1 Location entering the park;
- Audley
- Waterfall
- Stanwell Tops
The term for entry is for example Stanwell Tops in
Entering via Otford or Bundenna ferry is not permitted
3.2 Location exiting the park
- Audley
- Waterfall
- Standwell Tops
- Bundenna
The term for exit is, for example Waterfall out
Exiting via Otford is not permitted

A complete communication on an RNP ride is as follows
- Day and Start Time
- Start location, usually abbreviated to MM
- Entry point
- Exit point
- Pace

For example
RNP MM 6.00am Sat 23rd Audley in Stanwell Tops out Middies

after a loooooong time of having this on my to do list, I finally did fixie park! amazingly slowly, but I did add Kournell in to make it a bit of a longer ride, as I now live in Simon's old place and it would only be a 70km ride or so!
Fixed on 76, Audley in, waterfall out

I do now wonder if stanwell park to tops is a much bigger feat on the fixie century, but have done that too.

Artillery hill would be pretty dam challenging on a fixie

Does 65" on my 'hill ride' around Maroubra count? hahaha.

i've now muscled up to a 68".

But RNP on a fixie is just nuts.

You must be creeping up the steep/long hills like a caterpillar on those huge gears???? How are your knees afterwards?. Maybe im just soft/weak but I dont see the point in doing so other than to say you did it?

Yeah I always thought it was just hazardous to try, but if we do the fixie century, it's not as hard as that.
