Just received an email from the forum dude informing us that Tapatalk function is now active. However, DHBC isn't showing up on the supported forum list yet.

Anyone had success yet?

Hi Weiyun - as the official forum dude I can confirm I installed and activated it yesterday. I successfully registered the site as DHBC Forum and checked the Install Status - just didn't click the "publish" button  I've just done so - thanks for pointing this out. Can you check that it's working?

Looking good on the listing and this post comes through Tapatalk over wireless 3G.

But, why did my home IP on ADSL get a permanent ban as of this morning?

Sorry about that  - I was banning Russian nasties and they must have spoofed an Australian IP address range, namely 114.*.*.* which I duly banned. This resulted in me banning myself (D'oh!) and other legitimate users and I had to use a 3G connection to remove the IP address range from the ban list. It's all fixed now, or it should be. If you are still banned can you please send me your IP address please.

I'm on Internode and was still banned (121.x.x.x). Specific IP sent by email.

Back on Tapatalk, it seemed to run significantly slower than a far bigger forum. Not sure if there's some optimization issues or other. Will keep an eye on it while this IP ban gets sorted.

I was getting forum withdrawals, both my works external IP address and vodafails proxy address were blocked, at least the work one is now working.

Stuart is onto the Vodafail problem for anyone else affected by this, it'll also stop tapatalk working, well I think that's the problem.

OK - I think I may need to increase the memory available to the application - I'm looking into this now. We ran out of memory for the forum this morning and I had to increase it from 64MB to 96MB. The entry for the TapaTalk app shows 256 but I'm assuming this means bytes, not MB. Stay Tuned.

Also I have started a new thread for the IP address range issue >> http://dhbc.org.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2220

You have an HTC Desire?

I am seriously envious. I really, really, want one but I've got a dufus work phone that costs nothing.

It's so slim, and sublime...

Seems that the working version of Blackberry Tapatalk has been stopped from forum access and the latest release (Beta v10) doesn't work at all. Tapatalk site says that they're 'working on a new version'.

So, if you have a BB no dice on Tapatalk for now.

I've recently got an iPod touch. Should I install 'Tapatalk Forum App' $3.99 or install something else?

Just buy and install Tapatalk! They don't do intermittent sales so there's no point waiting.

Blackberry Update:
Tapatalk for BlackBerry is currently in public beta testing. You can download it using OTA (Over-The-Air) method by entering http://tapatalk.com/bb in the BlackBerry Browser. For feature request or bug report, please submit to our community support forum.

It's not as good as the previous one as it just shows all the categories, rather than the latest posts as it used to do so feedback BB users and get it look as good as the iPhone and Android ones.

The Tapatalk BB forum is here >> http://www.tapatalk.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=29

I ended up uninstalling from the BB, it was painful to use and caused the phone to hang a number of times. I'd suggest to other BB users to wait while it is worked on.
Happy tapping to the rest of you.

The BB Tapatalk app is now updated - again. It's still sh*t though.

I have today updated the server side version of Tapatalk to 3.0.3 - I don't think you'll see any difference, but there you go.

I have today updated the server side version of Tapatalk to 3.3.1 and ahmmmm , put the enabling Java functions back into the forum template that I updated about 1 year ago!

To the people using Tapatalk - has it been working for you OK? Do you see a difference now?

Hi all,

I as an Android user of Tapatalk, have encountered issues.

Basically ever since the recent change few days ago, i can view and read "Latest Tab" posts, but i cannot browse the forum at all, by using the "Forum" tab. It basically crashes TapaTalk app and restarts it. Only to face same issue on next attempt, in crashing loop & restart.

So in summary can view only recent posts.

Can i ask what other Android users are experiencing? If your still working fine on Android, can i ask what version of TapaTalk App you are using

Thanks
Bill

Tapatalk Update for June 2013: Get the Tapatalk app for free!

To celebrate our 4th year anniversary, Tapatalk app is now completely free (Admin: umm, well, yes but on iOS you still have to pay $4.99 for v2).

Checkout Tapatalk 2 for Android in Amazon App Store, Tapatalk 4 (Beta) in Google Play, and the original Tapatalk app for iOS is also free in Apple App Store!

Tapatalk also updated on the website today.

Hi android user, is this true? I have never used tapatalk..and not planning to install it if there are just massive number of nuisance ads..
By galac11
My favorite forum added this app.For those who do not have it there is annoy ware ad popups that

interefer at EVERY PAGE change. I use my browser for a reason, and the sheer arrogance of these pop ups is reason enough to never again use this annoying app.

Tapatalk is great. You don't miss anything and it's become a lot easier to use.

You are on an iPhone. Ads are on Android based Tapatalk app.
