I would not recommend Cell bikes. They don't support the club, and as their name implies, they are more interested in a sale than service. I live around the corner from them, and can walk to their shop, but they will still charge me delivery fees, even if I want to walk in and pick up the item. If you walk in to Cell bikes, I very much doubt you will get the same price on items that their website says.

There are quite a few bike shops that support the club. I would talk to them first. They look after you when they know they are dealing with a DHBC member. Once you factor in postage, and "club discount" I doubt you will pay any more than Cell bikes from any of them.

I would suggest any of ...
Bundy
Mick Mazza
Ashfied
CyclefitCentre
Stanmore (probably)

City Bike Depot will also look after you well if you say you are from DHBC.

Toff and Mikesbytes - you are both too cryptic for Wallaby who is new.

Please explain yourselves.

Peter Bundy Cycles - He is closing his retail shop tomorrow for 3 months though. Bargains to be had as a result. Riverwood 9534-4818.

Mick Mazza Cycles - Marrickville. Also closing really soon. 9564-5468. Bargains there too.

Ashfield Cycles - Ashfield. Not closing anytime soon. Tim Llewellyn works there now doesn't he? Don't know number.

CycleFit Centre is Steve Hoggs business. Does bike fitting as well as sells high end bikes and parts. Not closing down either. Geoff S works there. 8338-8911.

Stanmore Cycles. Bike Shop on Parramatta Road. Nice Italian bikes and parts. Owner (Bob) used to be DHBC Secretary, but has only a loose connection to club now. Also not closing. 9560-5842.

Thanks Tim,

Forgot Burwood Cycles. Think I got Ashfield and Burwood confused. Burwood have definitely supported the club in the past. They sponsored the DHBC Metro Masters Champs a few years ago.
