This is indeed a sad day. Great to hear though that this Michael will remain true to DHBC .... all through the freezing Canberra winters riding on those ridiculously wide roads with bike lanes and shoulders and .....

Forget Black Mountain. I'm sure Alex will agree that some training rides to Corin Dam are a must.....

Mick,
Sad to see you go, hope all goes well down there, maybe you could start riding with Tony Abbot as he's not doing much now !

Michael, how sad the news. We will miss you on Sundays - always turning up in mysterious places like outside the fire station or down at Tempe.

Perhaps you could team up with Penny Farthing Australian Champion Huw Morgan and establish the DHBC Capital Team....!

This is a sad day, . Micklan - I'll miss your usual banter on the few rides I actually kept up with you. Who else will I get useless information like plant names and Thai food from? Good luck down there. Keep in touch...we may see you at the next Jervis Bay weekend!

Mick, all the best for your move to the nation's capital. As discussed at the cafe after this morning's ride, I'll be seeking to join the DHBC capital team from about the middle of Jan 2010. Flick me your contact details when you get the chance, it'd be good to catch up for a ride/brew.
