Dear all,

This is to announce that we are now accepting orders to be included in our 2010 winter club order from Nalini.

This winter order will be for jerseys (unisex/womens), windvests and skinsuits (short sleeve), with identical graphics to our current Nalini line. The newly introduced windvest will have the same graphics and sizing as the jerseys but sleeveless and features 3 rear pockets and is constructed out of Nalini's MantoVent material (as used by the pro-team kits). Skinsuits in this order will receive an upgrade in the chamois to Nalini's UCN Ultra, which is one of their top end leather/microfibre composite chamois.

Sizing guide for Nalini custom apparels.

We only have M samples. Let me know if you want to try it but otherwise they conform to unisex jersey sizing.

I would like to try it, as I don't know whether it has as much stretch as the jersey. My small jerseys are a good race type fit, but I'm not sure what material effects the windvest may have. Is it plastic or is the front just like a thicker jersey material?

Do you have any links to more info on the Nalini windvest that we are ordering?

The sample I have is Drapac Porsche's team wind vest and our model will be the same but with DHBC graphics. The material is not "plastic" but a tightly woven material and looked good for wind break and is water resistant and moisture wicking according to web info. The elastic isn't as great as the jersey but some. I wear a well fitting S and the M windvest is ok for me if I want to put multiple layers underneath, but I am going to order S to ensure a good fit with thermal and jersey underneath. And I don't expect a need for more layers underneath for Sydney winters.

I'll bring it to Sat Slowies this Sat if it's not raining. Otherwise I am arranging to leave it at MikeC's place.

This thread is the order form. But this time I won't ask you to do the copy and pasting. Just put in the order in a single post and I'll do the accounting. Too many errors last time. :P

A reminder that we have a deadline looming and without adequate numbers, especially the skinsuits (previous indication of 10+ orders), we will not execute the skinsuit order on economic grounds. Further, delaying the order will adversely impact on the delivery date.

So hurry folks, especially those who are going down to Tasmania. It would be good if people can help spread the words also, especially to all those who don't frequent the forum. Thanks.

As promised Weiyun a posting re womens jerseys, finally! Happy with the graphics and style of the jerseys, the full zip not a bother to me. My preference is not for skin tight but comfortable sizing in a jersey. The womens large is good for this but for long torsos a little too short. I found the unisex medium just right and for a tighter fit the small is also adequate.
In so I have a large female jersey worn twice on the go if anyone wants it.
Put me down for a unisex M in the next order and wind vest the same. Thanks

Thanks Michele for your input. The distributor suggested that we just go with a single unisex line when we first enquired and it really is important to not let the "womens" and "unisex" designation influence one's decision.

The skinsuit order won't be as big as the 13 I originally drummed up, as some people have opted out, including Amy, Sean and Myself (as we are paying for the RAW version skinsuit), I will text David Lamb, Michelle P, Camilla to get orders in. Ian Deckner was the other one that was interested so but I don't have an email or a contact number for him. I dont think he reads the forum very much.

Hi I'll have a windvest in XS please.

At least I think that's the size I want. My jersey is a S women's but that doesn't seem to exist on the Nalini size chart.

Do you have a current Nalini club jersey? If so, it'll be the same size or very similar. If you don't, you may care to contact Mikesbytes to trial fit using our jersey stock.

Let me know and I won't lock your size in until then.

I do have a current Nalini and it's a size S women's.

Size S doesn't feature on the Nalini website. The three sizes with S in them are XXS, XS and SM - hence slight confusion.

XS will probably be OK - I've got small shoulders.

Size S should be the same as SM in that table (North American distributor). Also bear in mind that the windvest will be based on the unisex sizing, so I'd hate to see you pick the wrong size. For the cost, it'd be worth confirming it with our available samples. Just let me know what you want and we have some time to change the size choice beyond the due date.

Hello, I am considering buying a wind vest, but would like to try on the sample. It could solve my cycling in the early morning winter issues.

I am off to Tassie tomorrow, but plan to come to slowies, so if the vest were to make an appearance, that would be fab :)

Jess, we have one M wind vest sample and is currently with MikeC and I understand that he took it to the club track open for show and try. Did you not see it there? Right now, you'll need to make private arrangements with him to try on. As the sizing is based on unisex jersey sizing, you can also use that as an alternative.

The official deadline is for Sun but there'll be some freedom for size changes as the exact sizing mix won't get locked in until we are ready to place the order. We need the current deadline to finalise numbers/funds so that we can move to the next stage in the order process.

Weiyun, I'm the Doug who rode with you to Bundeena this morning.
Apologies for the last minute nature of this but only picked up on this thread this afternoon.

I'm not sure if I'd be an L or an XL, I say probably the XL but I'm happy to take your advice ???

Anyway whatever you recommend I'll follow the payment instruction today to pay for the jersey.

Thanks again for the ride this morning, very cool.

cheers

Great to have you on the ride!

Are you interested in jersey or windvest? If jersey, then we still have L and XL in stock. Check the following thread,
http://dhbc.org.au/forum/viewtopic.php?p=21434

You only need to follow this thread on items we don't have in stock. As we only have one of each for L and XL, you better be quick in checking them out (from MikeC) or someone else may reserve the one you really wanted.

Let me know what you are looking for.

I'm a newish member and am still finding my way around the forum. Is there any chance I can still place and order, now the deadline's passed?

Put in your order quick as we are in the final quote stage and the order is ready to go out very very soon.

Follow the instruction in the first post and I'll include your order.

Final reminder for payment. Names (in blue) will be deleted by default if there's no verified payment when the order is ready to go out.

Don't worry micklan and geoffm as I know you guys have paid. The coding system is based on Marian's verification and is subject to delays with these interbank transfers. I am sure they'll come through shortly. Otherwise I have learnt how slow these processes are and how banks can earn interest on your en-route money.

No... But wouldn't that be nice if Christian bought me a skin suit ;)

I have transferred my money too. Sorry for the delay, I didn't realise orders were closing while we were away.

Steve, pls execute EFT immediately. Thanks.

Similar to anyone else who orders before 12MN, EFT so that our Treasurer can verify your payment.

I'll put you down for an XL windvest. WRT payment, are you able to ask a friend to pay on your behalf? Alternatively a cheque/cash to our treasurer Marian (malee) can also do. But please move fast.

Thanks Weiyun. It'll have to be cheque/cash. I'll PM Marion to arrange it.

Hi,

I previously put my name down and paid for a small 2009 jersey but not yet collected this.

Just tried on a Nalini top I have and the small is going to be too small. Please can I order 1 x medium jersey and cancel the 1 x small 2009 model? Re-route the funds accordingly.

Apologies for the 11th hour request.

Unsure of gillet sizing so won't order now. Are you going to be ordering any club stock of these?

Thanks.

Jon.

Hi Jon,

I note that your present S jersey order is from our club stock in the other thread.
http://dhbc.org.au/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1632

Would you mind making the same request in that other thread (to assist with communication) and I'll re-allocate your payment to this winter order and reserve a M jersey.

We currently have a M sized windvest at Mikesbytes' home that you can try. If you enter the payment and then provide the size before the weekend, I'll be able to include your unit in the current order.

Dear all,

This is to announce that our winter pre-order is now officially closed. The order will go out once the last of the payments have been verified and numbers tallied. Your participation and timely compliance with the process has been much appreciated as it is helping our club to achieve volume pricing and a well provisioned stock of club gears.

By current schedule, we can expect to receive the goods in early May.

Thanks again.

An announcement will be made very very soon. I suspect it was the Giro that stuffed the production schedule by a few days...

Good news! Our winter apparel stock has landed and all items have been accounted for.

Pick-up arrangement is as follows,
Thurs 10 Jun 8pm: Tempe Velodrome (immediately after our regular roller session)

I urge everyone to pick up your pre-order early so that there'll be room for swaps if required. Otherwise I'll open our club stock for general sale in 1-2 weeks' time. Bear in mind also that swaps are only permitted if the item is returned in the original condition with tags attached and in original plastic bag.

Karzie, Amy or Othy - is there any chance you can pick up Sean Colley's skinsuit order if you go on THursday to pick up yours? I will pick it up at your house - seeing you are close and I know where you live.

Sure, Trouty, I'm going to be in the area so will swing by and pick it all up then.
