Sounds interesting. Can fit it in before work. Pity we havent gotten our woolen jerseys, but we can make do. Might take my 60s Bundy or 50s Alcone.
Any other takers?

Is this strictly a 'beards only' event?

Also - if you're going for the food - whenever I've been in Italy breakfast was usually a roll (or biscuits) and coffee.

And a truly 'traditional' Italian breakfast would also include a cigarette.

Enjoy.

I'll make sure to tuck me Winnie Blues into the sleeve of my retro guernsey.
C'mon Jon, bring the Cooper! (and wear your tweed)

Damn, can't do this one either. In Pt Macquarie. It seems like the only time I ever leave the city is when there's a vintage ride on!

It was a lovely morning for a lovely ride. Large contingent of DHBC regulars: Lizanne W on her Clamont, Peter T on his Stuart (?), Peter B on his purple Colnago, Alister S on his Bundy and me on my blue Bundy. There were a few other vintage bikes like a Harry Quinn tourer from Liverpool (UK). Didn't notice many other steel bikes. Lots of people on new carbon. Believe there were about 15-20 riders.
We had a great free breakfast at La Perouse courtesy of Clarence St Cyclery. Bacon and egg burgers, ham and cheese croissants, fruit, measly, orange juice and I believe free coffees! La Coq Sportif took photos of the ride along the way in their Citreon 2CV.
And wait for it ............ (drum roll) ......... our very own Peter Bownes won a prize for being best dressed. Congrats Peter!
