Bike wanted - smallish for a 11 year old

Hi all, on the off chance someone has a small roadie/hybrid/commuter out there, I thought I'd shout out.
I'm looking for something for my 11 year old, who grows out of bikes at a terrifying rate. He's about 140cm now. Lord knows what he'll be in a year.
We're looking for something light enough that he won't get too grump on the 5km school run, or trip to footy on the weekend.
If you've got something to sell, or something in the shed that never gets ridden and would like to get back in a year or two from now with new tires and a service, let's talk!

Have you gone to reverse garbage? They usually have kids stuff.
Then the LACC newsletter has a for sale section.
And I'm still bigger! So none of my bikes will fit, ask again in 6 months
