Now lets hope for Joe's sake there is no strong cross winds
Even with cross wind and handling challenges, there's still aero power advantages for the legs. Jo will be unbeatable now.Now lets hope for Joe's sake there is no strong cross winds
I will be too scared to use these on the bike every day, possibly pull them out 4 times a year when I have an important event but that's about it. I have always wanted to know what it feels like to ride them though. I figured they were a good deal so it's best to snap them up, and I would never think about buying new ones. Now I have to learn how to glue tubilars on.Even with cross wind and handling challenges, there's still aero power advantages for the legs. Jo will be unbeatable now.
Don't forget to buy some carbon specific brake pads. I've read good things about the Zipp cork pads. I've been using the other Zipp Carbon/Carbon pads on my wheels with good results.I will be too scared to use these on the bike every day, possibly pull them out 4 times a year when I have an important event but that's about it. A much much more sensible buy than that other option. I don't know how you'll feel on them but I can always hear the loud whoosh... whoosh... of someone riding them.I will be too scared to use these on the bike every day, possibly pull them out 4 times a year when I have an important event but that's about it. Next you'll need to rebuild the rear with a PowerTap hub!
Yes - it seems all the books and any one doing coaching or plans won't touch you without a power metre these days. Maybe in 5 years time they will make it cheap enough for the average rider to have one.Next you'll need to rebuild the rear with a PowerTap hub!
