Hi all.

Everyone should have received their invitation to the DHBC Centenary Dinner by now. If not, we either don't know who you are, or we've made a mistake, but consider yourself invited.

This will be a family event, designed to cover all aspects of the club and its history. There will be historical bikes on display, as well as high profile guest speakers (Mike Tomalaris, Steve Hogg, etc.) throughout the night. The annual awards will be presented, followed by a DJ for the groovers, but mostly it's a great opportunity to catch up with past and present clubbies and get to know the history of our club first hand.

Now, on to the important part...

If you intend to come, but you have not yet RSVPd, can you please do it PRONTO. We need to give the venue details of numbers before the weekend.

It's simple:
Click this link,
say how many are coming, (partners, friends and children are definitely welcome, until we reach our venue capacity).
You will be contacted with payment details, so you can make your payment online. (Adults=$65, Kids=$20).

If you cannot attend, but wish to be involved, you can always buy a raffle ticket for the draw on the night. Prizes include jerseys, books, dinner vouchers, and more. Another thread will have details, or just PM me with questions...

Also, please note, the venue has changed, due to a double booking that we were not informed about.

The new venue is:
Western Suburbs Australian Football Club
40 Hampton St, Croydon Park NSW 2133

Looking forward to seeing you all on the night, for a once in 100 years party!

Toff, when clicking submit it takes you to the home page, so how can you confirm that your notification has been recorded?

Have you made an online payment to the club for your tickets? If yes, then we know you are coming, and your tickets will be posted. The RSVP is only half the process. Paying your money is the failsafe mechanism.

I paid cash to Lindsay on Saturday, as I didn't receive an invite as Lindsay didn't know my new address.

Ok, I've sent in my RSVP via the web page. Is there any electronic payment info around?

Hey Lindsay:
If I left Stuart's "family do" at around 8 (it is an 80th so they don't stay up very late), I could be there around 9pm just to drop in and say hi. Do I have to pay any thing before hand? At this stage I don't know if I'll be there but I am hoping to drive straight there. Stu's family is in from interstate so he will have to stay.

Dear All,

Due to a prior engagement, I am unable to attend your Centenary Dinner. I thank you for your invitation and feel honoured that you would invite me to share in your clubs significant milestone.

Put me down for $20 worth of raffle tickets. I will be at the Central Coast open and will give the money to Simon up there.

Have a big night and congratulations on DHBC reaching 100 years. May you go for at least 100 years more.

Kind Regards

Matt Hynes

Ripped off, would have been good to have you there, judging by the end of the winter series you would have been the right vibe for our party!

Hi Chris'toff'pher and hello Lindsay, for your info I've transferred $130 into the DHBC club account just now - for 2 tickets for my husband Michael and I for the 'Galah' (as Lindsay calls it) dinner. It will be coming from Bank of QLD, I've put a reference on it of 'S Spiropoulos'.

Cheers
Suzanne
