I am planning on doing a little light cycle touring on our road bikes with some other members of the club during December and the route I have planned will use a few un-sealed sections. After a bit of research I have come up with two tyres that may suit my needs Schwalbe Marathon plus or the Vittoria Randonneur pro. I was just wondering what tyre's the DHBC touring people have used?

Just to give you a heads up if you want to join or to check the route it is in the planning stage but so far its:

Stage 1: Nowra to Moruya via Braidwood/Nerriga/Arluen rd
Stage 2: Moruya to Cooma via Eurobodella/Nerrigundah-Mountain/Belowra/Badja-forest rd (epic day 140km and over 3500m of off-road climbing)
Stage 3: Cooma to Braidwood via Badja rd/Cooma rd
Stage 4: Braidwood to Nowra via Nerriga/Braidwood rd

Hi Julio,
I use Schwalbe Marathon 25s if there's a bit of off-road. They're the best I've used.
