I still recall the day when I was a passenger in a friend's car. There were three of us in the car going off somewhere which is not particularly relevant, so we can ignore that bit.

Anyway, we drove past a cyclist in full lycra kit on a pretty flash looking bike. I wound the window down and watched him as we drove past. The other people in the car looked at me and asked me what I was doing. I replied that I was "checking out his equipment". They laughed and made fun of me for the rest of the journey...
