Hey every one, if you are free this Sunday and it doesn't rain out, the ever entertaining track cycling Christmas carnivals are on this week at Tempe (Canterbury) velodrome, and we would love you all to come down for the event. The juniors start at 3:30, of which there are now a ton of our own lads and lasses to cheer on, and then the main carnival (I'm not sure the exact time).

There is late entry for any one with a track bike and some experience, but crafty would like people to email him about this first, also talk to some one from our club, as the pricing may be cheaper).

I will be there on a pair of crutches, I assume there will also be a BBQ and everyone's favorite Czech beer (formally Bernard beer). The night will end with an awesome maddison championship that is a separate event.

I'm there for sure. Love this event, even for a non track cyclist like me. The main carnival starts at 6:00pm. Remember there's no shade in the stands at Tempe so bring a hat :-)

I'm still looking for volunteers by the way. Anyone who can help out with the BBQ will be greatly appreciated.

I'll be a volunteer, I hear we turn up about 5. I'm up for some thing race related(I'm on crutches, but could possibly still do some thing organizing riders or near the finish line)

Great, thanks Lizanne, Stuart and Tim. I'm trying to work out what tasks are required at the moment. I'll get back to you all.

Ask Simon, I think he is in charge, or at least the one that communicates with crafty
