Sounds like a good idea.
Problem is that we do the present opening thing early, between 6-7.30pm on the 24th (today). If it is after 7.30pm I can make it.
Also depends on where you go. I assume you'd include Second Street, Ashbury in the itinerary? This is the street that literally 'lights up' annually (no exaggeration). If so, I'll even bring my 3 girls (and Merete) with me.

I'll probably be available tonight, especially if it includes Second Street.

I don't know the roads, so if anyone knows where the lit up houses of the inner west are, feel free to suggest a route.

Second St, Ashbury is about 200m west of Old Canterbury Rd. It is located between Ashfield (to the north), Hurlstone Pk (to the east) and Canterbury (to the south).
About 4kms from the M'ville Cafe.
The place will be very crowded tonight. Heaps of activity. This is not an organised event.

I'll be there after 7.30pm. Believe Geoff, Marion and Michelle live on this street.

36 (ish) Frazer St Dulwich Hill (between New Canterbury and Wardell) is extra ordinary in a massive greenhouse emissions and nativity scene sort of way
google maps even shows the lights!

Hmmm, i should have looked a little closer at the weather. It might be a wet.
If it starts raining, I'm cracking open some Christmas cheer
